Storytelling That Moves

Finding the story that communicates what you want your audience to experience can be a challenge, and determining how to express that message can seem overwhelming with various mediums and styles that circulate through the ever changing media atmosphere. However, with a little help from an experienced writer, producer and director, we can find the best way to communicate your story and sort through the various options for production to find the medium to best expresses your vision, meet your needs and that works within your budget.

Checkout some projects that I have produced working on limited budgets that take advantage of different tools to tell the story.

This was a special project that I did working with the Salt Lake City VA. The challenge was to teach senior citizens and family members living with a loved one suffering from dementia, how to care for them without bringing them into the city if they lived far out in rural areas where travel to the city was a hardship. This project consisted of 22 episodes telling the story of Harold and Margaret, as Margaret learns to care for her husband as his condition deteriorates. Each episode explores a different challenge associated with dementia.

Produced in 2009, this program was an early version of remote learning that involved a traditional film production with a crew and SAG actors. I wrote the script and directed all the episodes.
